Obviously, I've ignored this grand idea for quite some time, but it's time to pick it up again. I often talk to teachers about using Web 2.0 tools with their classes but perhaps I'll be more successful if I'm active myself. So here we go!
This is a crazy busy time for me. In a 5 days my friend from Japan, Hiroshi Kobayashi, will arrive with a group of students at AVHS for a two week home stay. Kobayashi-san knows I make a commute to school, but I think he's forgotten that my commute is nearly a hour! What's worse, he's going to have to eat my cooking! While in Japan I was blessed to eat at his table...his wife Yoko is a nationally certified cook. I'm not. I hope Kobayashi-san likes pop-tarts!
I'm also trying to finish adding a bathroom to my basement. In the last 10 days I've wired, sheetrocked, primed, painted, put up a tub surround, installed fixtures..all I have left is caulking, installing the toilet, sink, and tub fixtures and lay tile! (not necessarily in that order)
Add to that my juniors volleyball team that plays 3 of the next 4 weekends and practices twice a week and I have little time for myself....and have I told you about my girlfriend Patrice? She deserves a bit more time than she's getting!
